0 Sexy Without Nudity
Many times we will have clients come in who want sexy photos, but prefer to show a little less skin. Ever hear the expression less is more…sometimes a little mystery can be sexy! Not all clients want to show off everything, so how do you bring out the sexy in someone who may be a little more conservative? The simple answer is to think about what makes something sexy? Some may think it’s about being serious and showing off everything, but that is not always the case. Sexy is a look, a glance or even a slight smile. It is an expression that makes you wonder. Take Laila for example…I photographed her awhile back, she wanted sexy photos but definitely did not want to show any nudity. So we decided to go with the whole smirk over the shoulder…and it worked! Back shots are also a great way to create the illusion of nudity without actually showing any parts!
When you have a client who may seem to be a little nervous, or a little stiff, trying getting them to use expressions to set the mood. Eyes and lips are sensual, it’s amazing what a little glance or bite of the lip can do for an image! Let your client know that they really can keep be sexy even if they prefer to keep their clothes on!
